I followed the advice of apt and ran autoremove and apparently it removed some important ros packages.
I tried the steps in the Bitbucket Install for 2. Install ROS
But when I try
sudo apt-get install ros-kinetic-desktop-full
I get errors like
E: Failed to fetch http://packages.ros.org/ros/ubuntu/pool/main/r/ros-kinetic-desktop-full/ros-kinetic-desktop-full_1.3.1-0xenial-20180105-195041-0800_amd64.deb 404 Not Found [IP: 140.211.166.134 80]
I have ran sudo apt-get update
and have also removed the sources.list files and reconfigured it witht the software sources tool in ubuntu
the others ros packages are still there
would appreciate any help
