This is based on a request from one of the Simulation Neuroscience MOOC.
Would it be possible to make it easier to duplicate a notebook in the collab ? Students want to save a copy of their work in different files. At the moment, the (complicated) workflow I proposed is:
First of all, you can just download the file to your local computer using the ‘Download’ button in the ‘File’ menu of the notebook. After that it’s on your local computer, and you can rename it if you wish. To put the notebook back into the collab:
Go to the ‘Storage’ in the left panel of your collab
Click on the key/settings symbol in the upper right cornet
Select Upload File
After the file is upload, go to it in the file list, click on it, and select ‘Add to navigator’ to show the file in the left menu
